When grief counselling can help

Grief isn’t linear, and it doesn’t follow a schedule. You might be experiencing:

  • waves of sadness, numbness, or shock

  • anxiety, dread, or feeling on edge

  • anger, irritability, or guilt

  • sleep changes, appetite changes, or exhaustion

  • trouble concentrating or feeling motivated

  • feeling detached from others or “not yourself”

  • being okay one moment and overwhelmed the next

  • dread around anniversaries, holidays, and “firsts”​
